Pumpkin Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 and 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
- In a separate large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, sugar, and water until well combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the pumpkin bread to cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
