Pumpkin Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 and 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  3. In a separate large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, sugar, and water until well combined.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the pumpkin bread to cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
